Nature’s paintbrush has adorned the Mountains with autumn color as an elegant summer sky dances overhead. One does not need to go far on the Prairies to enjoy the richness of such scenes. The reference image for this painting was graciously provided to me. Some discussion as to whether this portrays the Porcupine or Duck Mountains ensued and although it appears to be the Porcupine Mountains, this is another scene that illustrates outdoor splendor in rural Manitoba.
