Swan River Thunderhill Area

Situated to the West of Swan River, Thunderhill is a prime attraction for winter skiing, and summer hiking or mountain biking. Along the route sits a grouping of old barns at the edge of a field - backdropped by the beauty of Thunderhill. I used one of the barns as reference for this painting, and chose a view looking East, to capture the magnificence of this cloud over the open prairie.
